SUMMARY: The Inventory Manager monitors and reports on the company's inventory, assures efficient handling of the company's products and supplies in support of the attainment of business goals. The Inventory Manager is a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities, demonstrates excellent attention to detail and has a strong business mindset.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintains integrity of the physical inventory by location
• Establishes and maintains product tracking and reporting systems
• Executes inventory transfers
• Manages and executes purchase orders
• Ensures compliance within corporate policies
• Supports compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures and safety rules
• Ensures proper classification and storage of inventory
• Effectively queries inventory and all order-related transaction history
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with distribution associates
Education/Skills Required
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in any field
• Excellent computer, mathematical, language, problem-solving and reasoning skills;
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with current versions;
• Ability to follow established company protocol for digital and inventory control
• Auditing experience;
• High-level attention to detail, administrative skills, and highly organized;
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to maintain focus in an active environment
• Ability to adapt to rapidly-changing working environments, deadlines, and working conditions.
