Soon, the state of Illinois will award medical cannabis licenses to 60 dispensaries and 21 cultivation centers and more than 1000 jobs will be created across Illinois. This is your opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new industry, as well as help thousands of patients find the relief and treatment they have spent years waiting for.
Vallerius Group is seeking qualified candidates for positions at cultivation centers and dispensaries as soon as possible after licenses are awarded. By gathering interested candidates this far ahead of time, we greatly improve cultivation center and dispensaries' pool of candidates, thereby helping them feel comfortable they have hired the best employees. This also improves a job applicant's chances of landing in one of these positions because we are able to make applicants' information available to many licensees.
Candidates with backgrounds in biology, particularly botany and horticulture, are especially valuable to cultivation operations. Other backgrounds in science, medicine, chemistry are desired for performing laboratory analysis, quality control, research/development, and manufacture of cannabis extracts, edibles, and other medicines.
Experienced health care workers, social workers and counselors are needed to work with patients as budtenders/patient advisors. A willingness to learn about cannabis while sharing that knowledge with patients is a critical part of the job.
Vallerius Group does not itself offer any career opportunities. We merely perform a recruitment function on behalf of dispensaries and cultivation centers. Our purpose is to deliver the best job applicants to licensed cultivation centers and dispensaries. We seek nothing from job applicants, and we keep all personal and identifying information confidential. We do not show prospective employers any of your identifying information without first seeking your explicit permission.
