The Bookkeeper is primarily responsible for providing support to the Vice President of Accounting on all accounting and financial matters.
-Answers all vendor inquiries;
-Reviews and reconciles invoices;
-Creates and maintains various spreadsheets;
-Assists with purchase order processing;
-Assists with the preparing of financial reports, to include balance sheets and profit and loss statements;
-Assists with maintaining all accounts payable files;
-And all other job duties as assigned.
-High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required;
-Associated Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent field required, Bachelor's preferred.
-Must stay current and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED);
-Must stay current on accounting/finance laws and regulations.
-Familiarity with accounting/finance practices required;
-Excellent computer (highly in MS Excel), mathematical, language, and reasoning skills.
